1.) Media Diary
Since today was Sunday, I started off my day by going to church. Immediately I was subconsciously immersed in media, when I turned on the radio for a quick drive to the sanctuary. When asked to turn to a scripture reading, I pulled out my Blackberry, and went to my application that has every book of the Bible, in almost every version ever made. After handling some business, I came to the library, and did my homework, while streaming music online, via Pandora.com.
As far as online communication with friends and family, Blackberry Messenger, Facebook, and Twitter are my main sources of that. Texting is my #1 way of communication, because it is so fast, and I can get to the point much quicker than talking on the phone. Speaking of talking on the phone, I don't do that to people I frequently see on a daily basis. The main people I hold conversations with on the phone are my mom, sisters, and friends back at home that I do not see often. Other than that, most of my conversations on the phone are short and sweet---to the point.
From this dairy I have learned that I am very dependent on my cell phone. It houses my main sources of communication. That's why I love it so much, because I can do so much, from that little device.
2.) One of the changes that I have seen in the past few years on the Internet is the usage of videos. From the time I first started using the Internet, there were hardly any online videos to watch. But since the creation of YouTube, online videos have definitely increased, and show no sign of slowing down. Now, it is not foreign to see a video alongside an online newspaper article. I think this change came about, because we as a society as visual people. We like to see things. We also like to be entertained. This change is for the better, because videos can help enhance certain websites. They can help put a face or a story to something.
Another change that I have seen in the Internet is online shopping. Now, virtually every store has an online counterpart from which you can purchase the items and products. At first, online shopping was a sketchy thing, because people were unsure of how safe it was to put such personal information online (credit card info, personal numbers & addresses, etc.), But now, with things such as identity theft, and online buyer protection, things are much safer for consumers. I think this change came about, because of the ever changing Internet technology. As time went on, you could do almost anything online, so why not be able to shop to? This change is definitely for the better, because shopping online saves a lot of time and energy. Additionally shopping online often leaves you privy to online sales, as well as finding merchandise not available in stores.

There are many changes such as the speed, the internet has become faster, and the graphics on websites are much better. Also, it has become an important part of the media. The internet was basically for entertainment, but now companies run through the internet. There has been changes in the social networks, such as facebook and twitter. On today, people are able to pay bills over the internet.
Some changes I have seen in the past few years on the Internet would be the increase of people making videos of random things that happen in their life and posting on various sites like Twitter, Facebook, and the popular site Youtube. Something else that has also changed would be how networks post breaking news. There newspapers that can only be accessed via the web... in a way I think its better because it would be easier to access it on the go at any place...in another way... its not... because some people not have access to the internet like others do...
Changes for the good
more knowledge is available on the internet now.
the internet is know accessible to countries all over the world.
the internet is accessible from almost anywhere, from your home to your cellphone.
I feel that there are very few changes for the worse. Most of the changes that have been made concerning the internet have been made for the good.
uuuuuummmm i have seen a lot of change regarding the internet overtime. there are new upgrades in many different ways such as social networking. a couple of years ago, the main social network was Myspace. Facebook was made for college students. but after a while, everybody had gotten connected to it making it the main social network for everyone. digital maedia has really been increasing in value overtime. things such as ipods, ipads, cell phones and etc. have really played a big part in the lives of people. i have a like for it but i also dont like it. im not used to the fast pace in the increase of technology but there are some advantages.
In the past few years I have seen many changes in Digital media. Most of the changes I have seen are merely technological advances in media such as faster internet connection and more efficeant web page set ups ect. These changes have came about to make the web more user friendly. They were definetely for the better.

Shopping online is one of the best changes that were made for the internet. Individuals are able to get bargains and purchase items that are not even in the store yet. I love the fact that you can shop and never have to leave your house or room.
2. Media Diary
Today I didn’t have class until three, so I did some school work on Blogger before my class at four. After I finished my work I surfed the internet and ending up checking my school email and my personal email account on Yahoo. My Yahoo account is always updating me with my daily news whether it is national, state related and sometimes local if the state of South Carolina and North Carolina gets lucky. I can’t go a day without reading my exclusive entertainment so I checked out mediatakeout.com for it was time for class.
Throughout the entire day I stayed on my phone checking my twitter and facebook page to communicate to long distance friends, or just to be in the treading topic with friends and family who are already discussing the juicy gossip.
I learned and noticed that I’m always on my minicomputer (cell phone). My phone is my main communication tool and it’s always at my fingertips morning, afternoon, and night. I need to be able to reach my friends and family at any given time and my phone is always here to help me complete that task.
3. Changes with the Internet
Some changes I have seen in the past few years on the internet in the form of my own use of digital media is web cameras. Individuals who use web cameras are people who use it in their homes or on their I-phones and smart phones. I believe those changes came about due to the fact the people are always on the move whether it’s for a business trip, military, and for those who travel on a consistent basis. It gives those particular people the opportunity to be home without actually being at their homes with family and friends. The web cameras invention makes its faster and easier for people to communicate face to face literally.
*Media Diary*
My day went smoothly today, since I only had two classes. Even though, the wind was cold and blowing my hair everywhere, I still manage to attend my classes. My english class was really boring today, so I end up texting the whole class time to stay awake. Once I arrived to Ms. Brogdon class, I was so happy, because my day was almost over.
There are many types of online communication I use with my friends and family such as facebook, twitter, and my yahoo email. I use each one of these online communications regularly, so that I can always keep in touch with my friends and family. However, I also spend hours talking and texting on the phone, which is another way that I communicate with people.
Nevertheless, I learned that I cannot go a day without using the internet and my cellphone.
3. I believe that the Project Stakeholder or Sponsor is the most important position on the entire Site Development team. Nothing can be done without the Stakeholder’s monetary allowances. It is the Stakeholder’s job to assemble the entire Development Team and lay the structural and organization’s direction. Essentially, the Project Stakeholder is the Client, who tells the Website Development team the overall direction to take.
The Site Editor has the next most-important job. It is the responsibility of this individual to pick the contributors to the site, and edit the information that is posted on the site. The information has to be the most important aspect of the website, because as a web site is essentially a medium for the information, it is supposed to be designed to inform. The Site Editor must comply with the Project Stakeholder or Sponsor’s wishes.
This is the wrong assignment. I apologize
